You say that it was a "difficult decision." Can you explain in a bit more depth what your rationale was for doing it, especially if it was "difficult"? Was it lack of development resources? Was it to stem a rising tide of quick, thoughtless posts?

And perhaps, for those of us with mobile or tablet devices and decent eyesight, you could at least enable us to use the desktop features on those devices instead of finding ways to thwart us and force us back to the app to do anything.

Speaking of quick and thoughtless, I'm curious as to why it sometimes claims that "The Author has closed comments on this post," when I am the author and don't even know how to close comments on the post? I mean, the error message is clearly in error.
