One advantage of private notes is that they do not spawn their own stories. Most of mine aren’t all that “private” and don’t even necessarily warrant a reply (but this image shows HOW). The initial note can be 400 characters, and each reply to it is limited to 200. So it’s not for lengthy conversations, either!
