Yes! This little children's book, short story, fantasy writing poet earned a damned good living writing about computer hardware and software, parenting, education, and whatever else someone would pay her to write for decades. We ARE experts - at research and writing. I couldn't stomach that whole interview, because just 10 seconds of that spot where your link led made me want to reach through the screen and punch someone.

That said, apparently Medium's "bread and butter" isn't writers. We've always known that, Linda. And it's a shame that the readers have no good way to tell Medium that what they're pushing isn't serving them. But then again, the paying members are probably NOT the readers, either. It's us. Playing fair with each other. Thinking it matters.
