One thing these friends have taught me. I now know how Hitler came to power in Germany. Remember, he was out to restore Germany to its rightful place among nations after it's humiliating defeat in WWI. He was out to "make Germany great again." It could happen here. Yeah. But where were we so humiliated? Weren’t we greater before Trump and his cronies took power? We had stronger relationships with our allies. We had more respect. If Trump wins another 4 years, though, we will lose that. It breaks my heart to say it, but maybe rightfully so.
