Yay for hot water and bubbles. I'm white. I wash when I need it, usually once a day. More often if I sweat, swim, or play in the dirt. I was taught, as a child, to "wash down as far as possible, wash up as far as possible, then wash possible." Why would anyone shower and not wash their legs? Seems like a social media hoax, but then I'm not their mama. I don't always use soap on my face (but I rarely wear makeup and my skin's dry). I generally don't ponder others' hygiene routines unless they REEK. But often, that's due to diet (which can have some big cultural implications - fish eaters, meat eaters, vegans, and lovers of onions/garlic can easily offend one another). Or to heavy perfume/cologne use. Or nerves/stress. Nervous sweat stinks. Old sweat starts feeding bacteria - and that stinks. But people don't stink due to skin color or nationality.
