What kind of a loyal reader are you? I thought you hung on my every word, perched on my page to give me more "read time," shared everything I ever wrote - I had you on my "Super fans" list! I'm just teasing - you rock. <3 I'm glad you enjoyed this! I'm betting "cadaveric skin" made in a lab in the Woodlands, TX, probably isn't high on the first year syllabus, but now you know! It's very handy. I am fascinated by medical and scientific things; three docs have told me I'm a decent diagnostician. (Others are a bit put off that I know anything at all, but I try to avoid doctors who are threatened by an intelligent patient and dismiss us all as armchair consultants of Dr. Google who develop psychosomatic versions of "disease of the month.") I absolutely loved my breast surgeon, because he was not that way AT ALL and was happy to explain things at the level of detail I needed to feel confident in my choices and his work. (And yes, I watched every procedure on YouTube. Well - the highlights reel, anyway, not the whole 12 hours!)
