Well, if you enjoy putting on the concert for free while the likes of meta get filthy rich (knowing they'd have nothing if people didn't do that - for free) then fine. And yes, the community is the only thing they've got going for them, which is why I mentioned BBSes, blogrolls, web rings, IRC - OH, and forums.
