Unproductive translation work, yes — but it might be eye-opening to those who think skin color matters if the translator is skilled.

A similar problem exists in film right now. Yes, give a person who is of [first hand experience with ethnicity, gender, disability, etc.] the role, IF they can also act. If they want the role. Make an effort to find them. But to hire them if they’re not the best for the job would be unjust and unfair to them as well.
