Unfortunately, whatever abusive practices have led Facebook to crack down on other forms of Medium links has resulted in an inability to share a Friend link to one's own profile.

I do hope Medium and Facebook are able to find a solution, so that writers who are not using automation or link dumping to multiple groups are able to share those links with their friends.
