Two possible explanations, (possibly co-existing) spring to mind:
- White people looking for Black voices to amplify and to learn from have found yours, and your writing interests them, and they share it;
- White / male trolls have found you, and they are gathering their pack (which can also gather your supporters, because I'm sure the sheer volume of content says to algorithms, "Hey, this must be popular, let's show it to even MORE people!")
I have followed new (to me) people (Black, brown, white - because pretty much I was reticent to use LinkedIn as anything other than a digital Rolodex before I retired). I don't know that I've noticed a huge change in the content of my feed, but of course what's in the feed IS going to reflect what's "newsworthy" today. I'm more concerned about how quickly that interest in racial equity drops off.
