Traumatic. Just READING this is traumatic. I am now more convinced than ever that I could never survive on a continent where absolutely everything is out to kill me. ;) So glad you and Thor have recovered. I'm so sad about the koalas, wallabies, and all the other critters who didn't make it through the fires.
