"Transgressive poetry" is one thing; I don't have to like, agree with, or respect Bukowski to agree with his fans that he is a poet, that his work is provocative.
Some of your examples, though, are more prose than poetry. Even without a formal structure, the language of poetry should not be mere expression of opinion or a platitude for the like-minded. It should bring to life, to paint with words, powerful words, ideas and snapshots that hold a mirror to the reader and show the brightest and darkest places of the human soul. Or transport the reader to another place or time, so that for a moment, they are immersed in it.
