This, of course, is a noble effort when applied to novice writers who are sincerely seeking to improve their skills and truly "find their voice." It is less noble when it is reduced by time constraints and overwhelming volume to merely rubber-stamping poor content and elevating it indiscriminately; giving "voice" to plagiarists and "writers" who cannot string words together coherently.
But none of that will matter, with any extremely large publication - those stories will have no more visibility, really, than they do on the platform as a whole. To recreate Medium within Medium itself gives rise to the law of diminishing returns.
Not every critic is "ignorant," just because we vehemently disagree with them. Wise leaders listen to wise counsel, and do not make drama out of conflict.
