This is a definite WTF - not cool at all. You might hope that readers would be discerning enough not to mute or block anyone without reading first. But this isn't our first rodeo, is it? I mean, we COULD console ourselves with the fact that maybe those readers who would dismiss an author without even knowing who they are wouldn't read our work anyway, or wouldn't be intelligent enough to understand it (since they weren't smart enough to not indiscriminately block an author based solely on the title, without even knowing who the author WAS...) I don't know, but I agree this one is weird. Seems like a UI design oversight.
