These are usually written by someone who literally hates to write, but has been convinced by shady individuals on the Internet that writing is the way to vast riches. Or a six-figure book advance.

This used to frustrate me. Still does, because it leaves heaps of trash writing littering the Internet. And I feel sorry for these people - well, some of them. It would literally be easier to make a living slinging burgers at a fast-food joint. I don't feel sorry for the ones who think writing is easy and a way to earn a "passive income" doing nothing. Those are the plagiarists, article-spinners, and black hat SEO "gurus." I hope they dissolve in anonymity, and wish there were street sweepers on the ol' "Information Superhighway."
