Really? I'd write a whole series, but I'm afraid they'd be bestsellers and everyone would buy them.

I keep thinking I should write snotty and sarcastic self-help books for people as bored, angry, cynical and jaded as I am but I’m afraid that only I would buy them. How about The Crossroads of ‘Well, duh!’ and ‘No Fucking Shit?’

Really? I'd write a whole series, but I'm afraid they'd be bestsellers and everyone would buy them. It would only reinforce my notion that people don't want to read what I want to write, and I'd hate the author.
