Poor Alfred - is it a choice, then, between hiding his light under a bushel or being an arrogant "know-betterer"?
What a depressing world, if that's the case. But Coach, does Alfred have to HIDE his smarts, or could he just be learning tact and how to share what he knows in a way that people will be more receptive? And learning to appreciate the strength in diversity - of having people in his circle who have different strengths and talents and ways of seeing and knowing?
If he doesn't like the spotlight anyway, that shouldn't be hard - seems to me like he'd make a great teacher or coach, himself, one day. :)
