One tip: Don't click "Also publish to my profile" or allow your comments to be treated as "Stories" by Medium, unless they can stand alone as articles. That can work - if you put that kind of effort into each comment, acknowledging the author AND adding new material and insight that's pertinent, that can definitely work. But don't make every comment an article.
