Oh, please do pick on FOX. Pick on the whole Murdoch media empire. The "Marketplace of Ideas" naively assumed a level playing field. (Or, cynically, it didn't, while the rest of us believed that's what it meant.)

A FREE marketplace of ideas needs big money out of the picture. It needs some regulation against provable LIES (e.g., FTC) that now, thanks to the Internet, must reach across borders.

But to pretend that some of us haven't been trying, for decades, to advocate for the truth and expose the lies is just ludicrous. No, we fact-checkers are TIRED. Long live the fabulists. And god help you all if we turn evil. Because we'd be GOOD at it, but we still care too much and have some standards and values.
