Writers earn their money by writing something that truly resonates, not by regurgitating others' writing.

To anyone who doubts this: Submit that shit to a real magazine - not a self-publishing, "blogging" platform that won't ever send you a rejection slip. Submit to one of Medium's own publications - not these little individual, member-run collectives. See how FAST it's rejected by an actual BUYER of the written word.

What these people - it's time we STOPPED pretending that everyone and their cat is, wants to be, should be, or can be "a writer" - what these people are doing is trying to scam pennies from Medium. And they will destroy it. Perhaps that's their intention.
