No, we didn't kill George Floyd. But we didn't speak out against the abuse of police power when it didn't affect us directly, did we? Or if we did, we didn't make sure those who could DO something about it heard us loud and clear and took us seriously. PEOPLE of all colors have a tendency to focus on what directly affects them, and there's nothing wrong with that as long as we don't DISMISS or stand in the way of people trying to solve or get us to help them solve the problems that affect THEM.
