When people from the “dominant” group start standing up for what’s right, even though there is some cost to them, things will change. It helps, I think, to be aware of the cost others have been bearing for years — it may be painful to lose a customer in the short term, but as word of your integrity gets out, you’ll retain stellar employees and probably gain several customers for every one lost.
