Love is definitely a verb.

I’m not sure about the 50–50 thing. My mom used to say that no marriage is 50–50. It’s usually 51–49. And she said she was 49, except when she wanted to be 51, and my dad “let” her. ;) I think she was talking about control, though, not demonstrating love, per se.

I hope there’s no scorecard on my marriage — I’m definitely behind, if there is. :)
