Different Songs for Different Seasons

I grew up on, and took possession of, my mom’s old 45s. Although they’re “before my time,” my first “favorite songs” were from the mid-50s and early-60s. That’s also where I got my eclectic taste in music.

Formative Little Earworms

I couldn’t choose just one favorite then, and I can’t, now. Because my “favorite” may vary from hour to hour.

These Are a Few of My Least Favorite Things

Dido. My husband enjoys her music, but I find it annoyingly repetitive. I also dislike “easy listening” and “Muzak.” Too soft, sweet, demandingly relaxing. I don’t relax on command.
