It seems likely, doesn't it? Even if, as they say, that is NOT their intent, that's what the TOS gives them the right to do, if we accept it. Together, we can say "no" to this, but I'm not twisting any arms to do it. I just want people to understand that the language in the TOS is ALL that matters - not the "intentions" or past behaviors or fundamental beliefs of Medium at this or any past point in time. A contract is exactly what it says it is.

And people need to understand that their only real recourse if they do NOT like the terms is to convince Medium to change them before the end of the month OR to stop using Medium. That's it. That's your power.
