I’d rather see Stories / Comments, then further organization within each by Tags. Here on Medium, Tags function more like “Categories” than they do “Tags” — coming from WordPress, I tend to think of categories as topical sections in a table of contents, while tags function more like index tokens. But that’s not how they work, here. Tags correspond to Medium’s Topics.

Thus, I think “Poetry” should be a tag, and your Stories should be organized by tags so that all the poems would be grouped together, as you describe. I write non-fiction, fiction, poetry — each “genre” could be further subdivided by tags, if there were also categories or sections.
