I'd love to read your memoir. My cousins evacuated from Ukraine in the spring. 90 hours in a car to the first real room with beds and a shower. They are still unsettled, but safe. I told the 13 year old that he ought to be taking notes, keeping a journal. He was living history, and his story - all such stories - would be important memories to share, one day.
