I won $100 for a poem, once. Actually, the same poem won $100 in two contests a decade apart. It wasn’t a “turd," like a good 60% of them are. It was actually pretty good. I haven’t posted it here.

I have posted my infamous roadkill sonnet here, though. (It’s pretty good. Still makes me laugh while other readers cringe... Maggots and all.)
