I think it's beautifully honest, because let's get real - acceptance or rejection are all any of us can reasonably expect from unpaid "Editors," most of whom (not specifically anyone here, just on Medium in general) are NOT professional editors. I've only run across two or three that challenge me and win every time. It's delightful when it happens, but unreasonable to expect it on this site.
