Amazing photos — here and on your blog! I never faint over photos. Photos can’t hurt you. Unless it’s a spider or a venomous snake, I’m a little more rational than that (in fact, if I know it’s not venomous, I kind of like snakes).

Your monitor lizards are large, and strong, and probably not too fond of humans — but they’re not venomous, right? It’s your deadly funnel spiders and venomous snakes that really freak me out. Crocs, maybe — if they’re having trouble finding their usual delicacies. (We had a drought here years ago, and I swear, even the vultures and grackles started looking a little…vampiric.)
