I get you. This is at the heart of many copyright debates: Yes, even if I post a thing online, it's still MINE unless I sell it to you or intentionally give you specific rights to it (Hell, I even got my web hosting company to explicitly change their own TOS in this regard, and have a letter from them saying "We have NO interest in claiming any rights in your copyright that we don't absolutely NEED in order to cover our asses." Well, something along those lines, anyway. Which really does help to cement my loyalty to them. They're smart; they know they don't need to overreach to protect themselves and me.
