I don't mind a little "Related" section in the sidebar, but consider:

- open those links in a new tab to avoid yanking readers off the current page;

- changing the heading to make it clearer "Similar Stories by Other Medium Contributors"

and add the author name below the subtitle on those (theoretically, but not always actually) "related" pieces.
