I appreciate that, Jill — and your noticing that I tried very hard not to “compromise quality to achieve volume”! I never want to do that; I value readers’ time too much to just “phone it in.” But I also had to remind myself that I wasn’t writing a book. Sometimes, shorter IS best (all kidding about read times aside!). We have “short form” and “long form” and I think my happy place is “mid-length form.” Is that a new niche, or is anything over a paragraph considered “long form”?
