Don't bank on not having COVID yourself until you test negative 4-5 days AFTER symptom onset. I've had it twice, now, in six months. Got my fifth jab after recovery #2. My husband hasn't caught it at all, despite our not isolating from one another. He may be one of the mythical "never COVID cohort," or he may just be lucky - so far. It's a weird disease. 1st time was like a mild cold or allergies; second time was like super-mild bronchitis and the cough - productive, unlike the earlier "feels like a hair in my throat" dry cough - hung around for a few weeks despite recovery. Just like bronchitis, actually. Nothing Sudafed couldn't handle, both times. I'm grateful for vaccines!
