I started it for Poets Northwest (as I'm now VP and Programs Chair). Call it "thinking out loud" and I only have four subscribers at the moment, but so what.

In the most recent post, there are some challenges. Including at least one site to try getting published on - and maybe win $100 for a single poem. No promises, of course! This is a real publication, with real editors. But it costs nothing to try, so go try, Bob. Go try. And let me know how it goes. So far, I've submitted twice and been rejected once. I'm still waiting to hear on #2, but meanwhile...the best cure for waiting and wondering is to work on #3.

Also, what you think of as "worthy" may not be someone else's cup of tea at all. What you dismiss and shove into a drawer may be the next $100 poem. What have you got to lose?
