Broken Rules…

It was actually quite literal.

One: I had to edit my response to you, in another forum, three times — I’d broken my own rules about “no politics” in the way I’d phrased things, and it was pointed out to my by a mutual friend. It wasn’t particularly provocative, and I suspect only one of the group might have found a nit to pick with what I said. It was more of an edit than an argument.

Two: I was giving someone advice about how to treat comments here, and I sent them the link to this story, then went over to Flipboard and realized how ugly my feed was (again). It was a good reminder, too, to spend the morning reading and commenting, before writing anything new.
