You raise so many good issues here - this should be required reading. Reminds me of the Occupy movements, Pantsuit Nation, Wall of Moms (a pox on Bev's head), and any number of others. People usually give to do something good, not to support bad people and bad aims. Too often, the urge and urgency to give dampen all critical thinking skills.
